MEMORIAL DAY SPECIAL

In the United States of America, today, May 29th, 2017 is a special Holiday called Memorial Day.  A day when we take time to remember those people who have died for our country, for us, so that we may have the freedoms we have today.

So, instead of the usual photographic teaching blog, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on what makes our country so great.  Those of other countries can celebrate too, those freedoms you have as well.  It is a great day to remember the blessings we have to be free from the oppressions of the things that tie us down.   Please, enjoy this photographic tribute to our veterans and the military who have fought and have given their lives so that we may have our lives and freedoms today.

Once again, on this special Memorial Day celebration, may we not take this day for granted, and may we take a moment, during our celebrations, and remember the reasons why we are celebrating today.  Our hearts go out to those families who have lost loved ones in war, but, know this:  our country is proud of the men and women who have served to give us the freedoms we have and it’s hard to say anything but:  THANK YOU.  And I wish I could give them and you all a big hug.
