SIGMA TO ANNOUNCE TWO NEW EF LENSES FOR PHOTOKINA 2018

Sigma is planning to announce at least two new EF mount lenses ahead of Photokina 2018, which will take place next month. Currently, we don’t know what the lenses would be…

The previous rumors said the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports lens will be finally announced ahead of Photokina 2018 to replace the current Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO OS HSM lens ($1,299). In addition, Sigma is allegedly working hard on a new 70-200mm f/4 DG OS HSM Contemporary lens.

The Nikon full frame mirrorless camera will be officially announced on August 23, 2018 at 12am ET (9pm PT).

New Sony a6700 Rumored Specs List

 

The upcoming Sony a6700 (a6500 successor) flagship APS-C mirrorless camera is expected to be announced in late 2018, probably around Photokina 2018. Here is a new rumored specs list of the Sony a6700 mirrorless camera (via SAR):

Three More Sigma Art Lenses for Sony E-mount now Shipping (14mm, 70mm and 135mm)

 

In addition to the previously released five Sigma Art FE lenses, Sigma today officially announced that they are now shipping out three more Art prime lenses for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras:

Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Sony E: $899 at B&HAdorama.

Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Sony E: $849 at B&HAdorama.

Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Sony E: $899 at B&HAdorama.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Sony E: $949 at B&HAdorama.

What to expect from Canon before Photokina 2018?

Photokina 2018 will start on Wednesday, September 26. So, what can we expect from Canon ahead of Photokina 2018?

In addition, Canon is now working hard on the mirrorless cameras, so maybe Canon will unveil the Canon EOS M5 Mark II or Canon Full Frame Mirrorless Camera around Photokina 2018.
