WHILE WE ARE ALL STUCK AT HOME, I HAVE BEEN EXPLORING THE INTERNET AND WATCHING SOME OF THE PHOTOGRAPHERS AND THEIR IDEAS OF WHAT TO DO TO KEEP TAKING PHOTOS AND KEEPING THEIR PHOTO PRACTICING SKILLS IN CHECK.
I came across this idea that I liked of a creative challenge of trying to shoot everything you can in a specific color. For example, you pick a red flower, and your model is in a red dress, and in the background, is a red car…… and you get the idea. So, here is some examples:

This was the perfect idea, red everything including the background. Now, it may not be so easy if you pick another color. Have a person in your family help you with this challenge. Let’s pick another color: GREEN:

With green that may be a little more challenging. Now, let’s go outside:

Now, the idea to make this last for a while, is to do more than one photo. If you can create, say 5 or 10 photos all of the same color, then you will have some incredible photos. You might also try the art of still photography and become a real artist:

The above still photo, is creating a beautiful art object, but, using only one color with the objects. That too, can be a fun way to expand your “color scheme”

If you want to include your children in this assignment, here is some great ideas you can use:

Want to get your teenager get involved, ask them what color they want to use: Oh boy, be prepared for the weird colors. How about BLACK:

JUST HAVE FUN WITH THIS PHOTOGRAPHIC, FAMILY FUN EVENT. YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH YOUR FAMILY WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU WITH THIS GAME. FIND DIFFERENT WAYS TO POSE THE PROPS, AND USE YOUR CLOSE UP LENSES TO MAKE IT EVEN MORE INTERESTING. YOU MAKE IT AS MUCH FUN FOR YOU AS YOU CAN FOR THE KIDS.
