JUST WHAT IS “TEXTURE” PHOTOGRAPHY?
Texture photography is a form of “Pattern Photography”, which just shows the pattern. I have not been one to really like “Pattern Photography” because it reminds me of going in to the hardware store and pick a type of pattern for the wall. Like this:

You can see that with “Pattern photography” there is not really a main subject. It can be very beautiful, as is the photo above, with it’s rich green colors, and different contrasts. Can you see hanging just a “Pattern Photo” on your wall? Not usually. But I saw another photographer talk about “Texture Photography” and the photo he posted was this:

NOTICE:
We will be slowly improving our blogs and adding much more detail about certain subjects in photography. We will continue to do standard blogs, such as this one, but more detailed, about certain photo subjects will be coming around soon.
In order to see those new blogs coming, you must be “subscribed” to view them. Here are the details of what is coming up:

The other change that you will see on this website is a program called: “learn by pictures”. Totally put up pictures and comment from each photo, what is wrong or right about it. It’s a magnificent way to learn photography. You must be subscribed to the “basic plan” to see this program. It will be worth this small amount to see how nice learning can be.
