On February 1st, Samsung is announcing their new Samsung S23, S23Plus, and S23Ultra. Even before it comes out, there are people who know what these phones will do. Although the rumors of which phone will have the 200MP lens in it is still up in the air.
Is this becoming the battle between Apple and Samsung? Well if so, then this phone will certainly take the lead in features now. And we have the details.
The big news is that Samsung, since the previous year’s model has configure that one of their lenses, the one you would use most of the time, is a 200MP lens system. The sharpest known phone or camera on the market. What we are not sure yet until February 1st, is which model(s) will have that lens on it. We know that the “Ultra” model will have it, but not sure yet if the other 2 models will have it. 200MP!!! When will we ever see the day that these major improvements will mellow out? Who knows, but we are liking this all the time. It only helps us photographers out by having a backup camera when you don’t have your regular DSLR or Mirrorless camera handy. Would I replace my DSLR or Mirrorless camera now with a phone that gives that kind of resolution? Heck NO! Remember that the phone sensor is still small and when you see the DSLR cameras and Mirrorless cameras increase their image sensor’s resolution as well, you still come out ahead with the bigger camera. Besides, having the ability to have whatever lenses you want this, to me, just becomes a backup camera to my DSLR or Mirrorless camera.

CHOICES OF 4 DIFFERENT COLORS WITH THIS NEW PHONE!
I am one who likes phones coming out in various colors. Currently I have a phone that I purchased 3 years ago, and it is white! I love seeing that it is different than the rest out there.
The new colors, that we know of, and there may be more than these 4, are: Phantom Black, Cotton Flower, Misty Lilac, and Botanic Green. Remember these are not official names and are subject to change. This is something that may also change depending on the country. Some Country may have a totally different color tablet. The big announcement will be going over all those details on February 1st.
ANOTHER AMAZING NEW FEATURE: NIGHTMODE
With my current Samsung S20, they started something new with night photography then. It has made me able to take photos at night, without a tripod, handholding, and getting the most incredible photos. Like these:

Samsung claims that “A smartphone feature called Night Mode enables you to take vivid, highly optimised photos even when it is dark outside. So you will not have to take fuzzy, washed-out night pictures.”
The 50MP primary camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera on the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will work together as one unit. The gadgets’ combined 30x digital zoom may not be sufficient to get good pictures of the moon however the S23 Ultra is expected to take some high-quality shots of the moon.
