Iceland is certainly a mystery island. And it really didn’t get it’s name from the way most people know. So check out how Greenland and Iceland got their name by going to the “Greenland” Photo Gallery, https://123photogo.com/2023/09/27/photo-gallery-greenland-is-it-really-so-green/

Iceland is know for the famous Blue Lagoon, the famous Diamond Beach, the largest glacier in all of Europe. That glacier covers about 8% of the entire island. Also, it would be obvious that Iceland has no McDonalds. Another interesting thing is there is more sheep on Iceland than people.

More than 60 percent of the population of Iceland lives within the capital city of
Reykjavik
The interesting thing about Reykjavik is it is the most northern city in the world, but it has all the things a town should have: restaraunts, cafes, bars, museums,, and dit is flat enough that you can easily walk around this town by foot.

Iceland is a very busy piece of land with not only volcanos, but geysers as well. This makes for a lot of interesting photos that you don’t normally see in any country.

The Icelandic horse is the only horse on Iceland. It is unique to Iceland and is a horse that has adapted to the climate of Iceland. It grows long hair in the winter to keep warm, and short hair in the summer to keep cool.

The Northern Lights can be seen from September to March. This is always a beautiful thing to see and tourist come here during this time to capture this phenomenon.
