The above photo is of Twin Falls, Idaho. Idaho is not really well known, or at least I think they keep it a secret. It is one of the states that is a part of the Rocky Mountains. And with that, you know you are going to get some amazing photos. I recently took a drive into Idaho, and was totally delighted with the scenery, and the variety of photo opportunities here.
Idaho sits next to Washington and Oregon in the Pacific Northwest, and is located north of Utah, and on the east side is Wyoming. Idaho has a panhandle, and it is decidedly one of the most beautiful parts of Idaho, filled with Emerald green hills, timbered mountains, and beautiufl pristine lakes. The Snake river is a big river and adds to the beauty of this mountainous state.
Because the panhandle of Idaho borders Canada, you can bet you will get some Canadian Geese as part of the view. A beautiful bird that usually makes a lot of noise during flight.
Because Idaho sits in the Rocky Mountains, you can count on brutal winters. But they have figured out how to have fun with their many ski resorts, known throughout the world for great skiing.
