PHOTO GALLERY: NORTH DAKOTA –

North Dakota seems to be a rather quiet state. Most people don’t know too much about North Dakota, and that is what makes this fun. I think every state has some beautiful scenery or items of interest that we can all enjoy some great photos from. Plus, we might learn a thing or two about some of these locations.

Nearly 90 percent of the land in North Dakota is farms. In fact one of their biggest crops is potatoes. The world’s largest french fry feed is held every year in Grand Forks, during Potato Bowl USA. A new record was set on September 10, 2015, when 5,220 pounds of french fries were served. -Image by Jessica Rockeman from Pixabay

North Dakota is the State’s leading producer of honey and sunflowers. And because this big state is 90% farmland, you would expect other amazing crops available from North Dakota: They produce enough wheat to make 12.6 billion loaves of bread, enough beef to make 113 million hamburgers every year, and enough soybeans to make 483 billion crayons.
